About Frame of Mind
Dog Training LLC

I want to use my skills as a trainer to help dogs and their people live better lives together. I firmly believe that proper training can help dogs have a better quality of life and greatly strengthen the bond between people and their pets. My goals for every training session are to help people understand how their dogs learn and to help dogs understand what their people want from them. I offer group classes as well as private training, and I’d be happy to help you decide which is best for you and your dog. Contact me today and let’s get started!

Shannon Frame

I am a lifelong animal lover, and have spent my career working with dogs and horses. I received a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, and completed the Animal Behavior College’s Dog Training program. I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed, and I utilize positive reinforcement training methods. Not only are these methods proven effective, but they are enjoyable for your dog, which helps your dog become a willing partner in the training process.

I live with my two rescue dogs, and learning from them is what inspired me to become a dog trainer. Because of them I understand the challenges of dog ownership, and they are constantly teaching me new things. My experience with my dogs helps me relate to my clients and the goals they have for training their own dogs. I find it extremely rewarding to see a person and their dog have those “ah ha” moments when a new behavior clicks, and I’m glad that I get to be part of that process in every training session.

“I have learned how to be a better dog owner.”

“Tricks and Games was a great opportunity for my dog Pippa to do something fun and challenging. And it provided another way for us to interact with her in an entertaining way.”
