About Me

Hi, my name is Shannon Frame, and I’m a life long animal lover. I’m also an Animal Behavior College Certified Dog Trainer, and I would love to help you and your dog with whatever training needs you may have. I use positive reinforcement training methods, which I believe are effective in a variety of situations with a wide range of dogs and people.

I live with my two rescue dogs, and learning from them is what inspired me to become a dog trainer. Because of them I understand the challenges of dog ownership, from the common problems associated with bringing home a new family member to less common issues like dealing with a dog’s anxiety. My experience with my dogs helps me relate to my clients and the challenges and goals they have training their own dogs.

I created Frame of Mind Dog Training LLC because I want to use my skills as a trainer to help dogs and their people live better lives together. I firmly believe that proper training can help dogs have a better quality of life and greatly strengthen the bond between people and their pets. My goals for every training session are to help people understand how their dogs learn and to help dogs understand what their people want from them. I offer group classes as well as private training, and I’d be happy to help you decide which is best for you and your dog. Contact me today and let’s get started!

“We all enjoyed the classes and learned a lot. Shannon is a good teacher and our dog loves her!”
